Self learnings of NY project
Soft Skills
During a module abroad, students acquire so-called soft skills and ultimately expand them. These key competencies not only serve personal development, but are also in demand from potential employers. It is all about:
- Tolerance (openness for new things/adaptability)
- Intercultural competence
- Independence/self-confidence
- Ability to communicate and criticize
"You can learn from anyone!" Everyone has the opportunity to take "newly learned" things with them and use them in their own company or in their own context.
Language Skills
English as an international business language should be mastered by students. Students who communicate every day in a foreign language for a longer period of time learn the language faster, more efficiently and more easily than in a language course in Germany/Austria/Switzerland.
After the foreign module you should ask yourself the following questions:
- Have my English skills been improved?
- Can I communicate with companies that do not speak my native language?
Organization of Trips Abroad and Companies
The students learn how to organize a trip abroad and how to establish contact with foreign companies.
Business ethics is often lacking in the formal training of managers. With the appropriate knowledge and tools, managers can better identify, diagnose, analyze and solve ethical problems and dilemmas.
