Blue. Green. New York.
What’s behind the MBA14 logo?

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) reflects us all. It’s even more of a major topic for customers, business partners, employees and applicants; your potential future talents. Some years ago there was one big claim: money made the difference. Nowadays, this is no longer the sole focus. It’s the way of doing business. It’s the way of doing something for its sustainable value. Value for society, for the environment, for all our future. Next to creative and innovative business ideas, your CSR activities can make a big difference.

As part of its master program in management and communications the MBA14 course wants to find out how the topic of business ethics and social responsibility interacts with companies and people located in probably the most relevant city for communication and diversity: New York City. To give our organization a face and to interact in a unique way, we created the MBA14 logo design.

The MBA14 logo is set for a clean-modern appearance while representing the key elements the course and project stand for.

The intention was to show in a clear and simple way New York City as the base of our project. We have expressed this with the statue of liberty – probably most known landmark of the big apple – in combination with the capital letters as the center elements of our logo.

Furthermore, the flag of New York City is a tricolor of three vertical stripes colored blue, white and green as the fundamental colours of sustainability. Developed on this composition the MBA14 logo is assembled with a blue “N” and the statue of liberty in white as a connector of the gap between the green colored “Y”.
