About the company
The architectural office consists of 18 employees from different nations.
What was impressive?
In the architect's office we were welcomed as a large group and immediately led to a meeting table. There we were able to ask our questions and also find out that the architect is also very interested in integrating sustainability into the building industry. For the architect, the term sustainability is divided into the following sub-concepts: passive sustainability, active sustainability and physical sustainability. When planning, he is primarily concerned with the orientation of a building (= passive sustainability). "A building should be sustainable!” We were certainly impressed by the fact that the topic of sustainability in the construction industry is perceived in a completely different context.
What did we learn?
One could learn from the architect that sustainability can be used in many ways and can also be applied through small details. One example of this is LED lighting. In the office itself, employees have a lot of freedom. It is important to the architect that his employees complete their tasks on time. In summary, one can report that sustainability and CSR are also of great importance for architects.
