About the company

At Quest, they believe that when a product stands out, it only makes sense that your container does, too. With their creative quest-based approach to innovation, they have been able to help hundreds of brands develop containers that are truly distinguishing, yet somehow feel like they were always meant to be. In other words, a perfect match.

What was impressive?

Sustainability in the process of bottle production has become very important over the last 12 months. The development in this regard is very dynamic and will become increasingly more important in the future. The company has been a trendsetter and pioneer, creating a recyclable bottle for the market. The first goal is to make such a bottle acceptable for the market. They believe strongly in that project and calculate an estimated reduction of productions cost by 20% in the long run with this new technology. For them this is the only way to be competitive in the future. Furthermore, concerning sustainability, they see Europe and especially Germany as role models.

What did we learn?

For Quest, sustainability not just a topic in production. The whole supply chain will be optimized concerning this matter. The board of the company is convinced about the way they are going. However, sustainability is not yet communicated in the company. It is more of a “top secret” project. We found this irritating. It is not just a matter of doing, it is also a matter of communication and the way you can convince and inspire the employees. Employees should be given the opportunity to know about chances and perspectives with such an innovative company. For some reason they are not.
