Peter Lueders

Peter Lueders is a successful photographer in NYC with his own photo studio, which he not only uses for himself, but also makes available to other photographers and teams for shootings. He is originally from Hamburg, Germany and emigrated to New York 20 years ago.

We weren't aware of the fact that some photographers, because of flirting with the model in front of the camera (which is actually normal), basically already have one leg in prison because of the “Me Too” movement. Also impressive was the fact that digitalization gives everyone the opportunity to be a "photographer" and everyone thinks they can take pictures. The original craft is lost. This fact, as well as the Me Too movement, contributes to the fact that the job has changed a lot. Equally interesting was the information that the advertising industry is anything but sustainable. In general, there is very little awareness of environmental protection in NY, especially the handling of garbage.

We were able to get a better understanding of photography and its requirements today. The choice of models is a sensitive issue. With several models, diversity must be represented: Black, white and Asian. In the case of children, even pseudo-photographs are taken just to remain politically correct.
